Ground Floor Lighting
The main changes to the ground floor lighting is the introduction of downlighting and wall washers fitted to the underside of the first floor walkway. This additional lighting will help reduce the extremes of light and dark created by shadows cast from the first floor walkway and existing staircase. "Click on images to enlarge" |

Additional downlights will be introduced to the four corners of the walkway. The existing suspended flourescent light fittings will be replaced with more efficient units but the biggest change to the Atrium lighting will be the removal of the central high level lighting track. The main light source for the Atrium will now be produced by bouncing floodlighting off four triangular fabric canopies attached to the main roof structure. |
